How It’s Made

Measuring and Installation
We measure and install all of our jobs to insure quality and customer satisfaction. Granite does not flex, stretch or conform to an uneven surface and therefore must be cut with great precision to fit properly. We consult with the customer about any necessary seam placement, any prep work that is required before we can install the countertops and any scheduling conflicts that may arise.
Cutting And Edging
Large slabs are cut to the required dimensions using diamon cut-off saws. Curved surfaces and sink holes are cut and polished by hand. Most edges are put on with a large automated edging machine that can polish pieces to to 12’ long.
Installation.
When the job is finished production we schedule a time to come install. Each piece is carried in by hand, and fit into place. The top is leveled and shimmed for even support. Joints are glued together with a clear epoxy that may be tinted to match the stone colour.
